Histoire archivistique

This document was once part of a volume with a red spine (the 'Red Book') in the early twentieth century which was made up of correspondence from eminent/famous people. Documents were affixed only to odd number pages. They were removed as a number of items had come loose and others were being damaged. Early items (pre-1850) have been reintegrated into the relevant committee papers, others have been filed at PR.GE/119/39
