Diane Howse worked with architect Birkin Haward of van Heyningen and Haward to restore the redundant Grade I Listed medieval church of St Margaret's York, creating the National Centre for Early Music. Howse worked with the design team to understand the scope of the brief and developed sites for a number of artworks. The project was completed in 1999. Client: York Early Music Foundation. Award value £4,000.
