In parallel with the Serpetine Gallery's exhibition Rachel Whiteread and the artist's Monument for the Forth Plinth on Trafalgar Square, the Serpentine collaborated with the RSA on an innovative education programme entitled Art on a Plinth, sponsored by Bloomberg. Artists worked with two Lodnon secondary schools to explore art in the environment, which included looking at the new development scheme in Trafalgar Square.
