The RSA-Cubitt Trust Panel was a sub-committee of the Society's Committee of the Environment. The Minutes record decisions about the organisation and administration of the annual Thomas Cubitt lecture.

The Environment Committee was formed in 1971 and had its first meeting on 20 January 1972. The committee's remit was to review major issues, trends and developments affecting the environment in Great Britain and abroad and provide a pool of relevant information; co-operate with studies and proposals made by other bodies; and arrange conferences and lectures. The Committee met three times a year.

The members of Council of the Society were selected as the Royal Commission for the British Section of the Exhibition.\nThese Minutes include the meeting of the Chicago Committee of the Royal Commission and the sub committees created to manage the British section of the exhibition.

The Industrial Art Bursaries Board dealt with all aspects relating to the Industrial Art Bursaries Competition. It eventually became the Design Bursaries Board. See Pr.DE/107/12\n\nThe Futures Working Party appraises and makes recommendations to the Design Board and the Council on the design activities undertaken by the Society (see terms of reference in the Bursaries Board meeting 5 December 1984).\n\nFor the early years of the award (1924-1928), minutes can be found in the council minutes.

Minutes and supporting documentation. These are largely records of decisions taken on applications made to the Art for Architecture scheme and administration of the scheme. These files include the completed grant application forms of both successful and unsuccessful entries with reasons for the latter in some cases. Not all years include the applications of the successful entries. These can be found in the project files at PR.AR/110/10/

The Library Committee was established in 1948 to discuss the organisation and development of the Society's Library. It later took on responsibility for the History Study Programme (becoming the History Study Panel, later the History Records and Collections Panel)

The minutes record the administraion and organisation of 'The Countryside 1970' Conferences and Award Scheme.

The bound volumes tend to include the Minutes of the main Examinations Committee (in 197? the Examinations Committee became the Examinations Board); the General Purposes Sub-Committee and the various sub-committees for the examination subjects. The title of the bound volumes does not always correctly reflect what Minutes are included in the volume. The correct information is listed in the description field.The meetings of the Examinations Committee were held twice a year in January and July. The last meeting was held in January 1987. In this year the Examination Board became a separate company.
