In 1991, the F&GP committee became the Executive Committee. Some of the previous functions of the F&GP committee were transferred to the Finance and Resource management Committee.
The Library Committee was established in 1948 to discuss the organisation and development of the Society's Library. It later took on responsibility for the History Study Programme (becoming the History Study Panel, later the History Records and Collections Panel)
