      This symposium, organised to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Great Exhibition, was held in partnership with the Prinz Albert Society of Saxe Coburg and the Victorian Society and part-funded by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. It was held at the RSA on 5th & 6th July 2001.\n\nTopics covered by a host of international speakers included aesthetics, architecture, design, industry, museology, science, politics and culture.
