The Adam pillars were removed and the showcases introduced in 1863-5. The ceiling was decorated by Crace and Co. Had previously been the repository or model room. Has been the Benjamin Franklin Room since 1967

The bust was presented in 1863 by subscription of the members as part of the Society's memorial to the Prince
