Won 'The Northamptonshire Footwear Manufacturers' Design Award' worth £2500 under the the 'Mail Order Catalogue' brief in the 'Footwear' section. Worked for a year with Grenson shoes and spent twelve weeks studying at the ARS Sutoria Technical College in Milan.

Won a Travel Award worth £2000 under the the 'New Design for Old' brief in the 'Consumer Products' sector. Travelled in Europe. Photocopy of original report.
