The Music Scholarship Committee was sent up to administer and oversee the various music scholarships administered by the Society. The Music Committee was later absorbed by the Arts Committee when music scholarships ceased in 1990\nIncludes minutes, correspondence and papers of the Committee
The Society administered that payment of scholarships to music students. These were funded by various trusts including Sir John Stratton fund, Orlando Oldham Foundation, Ernest Cook Trust, CBS, EMI, RCA and Philips Industries music awards. These records have been sampled\n\nIncludes correspondence to and from scholars, application forms and press notices
The file consists of the minutes of a meeting held on 30 November 1988.
Client:
Simon Moretti worked with architect Adam Caruso on the strategic plan for the Museum of Childhood site in Bethnal Green, London. The core of the collaboration was the development of a polychromatic interior architecture, and Morretti and Caruso also looked at possibilities for the display of objects in the museum. The project was completed in 2003. Client: Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood. Award value 8,000.
Sokari Douglas Camp collaborated with Sunand Prasad of Penoyre and Prasad Architects on the design of this multicultural arts centre for Wales. Douglas Camp also helped to raise the profile of public art among local artists. The project was completed in 2001. Client: Cardiff and District Multicultural Arts Development Ltd. Award value £3,600.
