The Environment Committee was formed in 1971 and had its first meeting on 20 January 1972. The committee's remit was to review major issues, trends and developments affecting the environment in Great Britain and abroad and provide a pool of relevant information; co-operate with studies and proposals made by other bodies; and arrange conferences and lectures. The Committee met three times a year.

All minutes are closed for 30 years.\nThere was also a Development Committee but there are no minutes relating to it.\nIncludes incomplete minutes and papers of the Steering Committee, Statue Panel, the Communications Committee, RSA Meetings and World Squares for All. In chronological order.

Jeff Bell designed and considered locations for architectural glass in the refurbishment of Ipswich Central Library. Bell worked with Suffolk Council Architects Department on designs to make glass a key feature of the buildng. Client: Suffolk County Council. Award value £4,000.

Minutes and supporting documentation. These are largely records of decisions taken on applications made to the Art for Architecture scheme and administration of the scheme. These files include the completed grant application forms of both successful and unsuccessful entries with reasons for the latter in some cases.
