Barry indicates that he would prefer Mr Heath. The note was relayed to the Society by Valentine Green

An additional note on the bottom reads: 'Received 28th April 1809 of Dr Taylor the above.' The initial date of the note is 9 March 1806

Regarding Mr Heath's engraving of Barry for the Transactions, and also the annuity for Barry.
