Garry Fabian Miller liaised with architect Richard Murphy on the initial design proposals for a gallery and study centre which will explore the ecological environment and the relationship between the arts and the natural sciences. Fabian Miller also worked closely with landscape architects Gross Max who were appointed to the project at a later stage, and advised on an artist open submission process. The project was completed in 2001. Client: Buildings at Risk Trust. Award value £5,000.

Clive Sall and Lindsey Seers worked with Giles Oliver and Greg Penoyre of Penoyre & Prasad on the redesign of a derelict garden. The scheme creates a sensory, multi-activity environment for children and young people with severe and complex multiple physical disabilities. The project was completed in 2002. Lise Autogena collaborated with engineer Tom Barker of b consultants on a project to rejuvenate the early 20th century amplifiers located in Folkestone on the southern coast of England. Autogena and Barker completed designs for two new mirrors, one to be placed on either side of the Channel, enabling members of the public to listen to the sounds of the sky and to talk across the sea to people standing on a listening platform in front of the opposite mirror. The design stage of the project was completed in 2002. Client: Shepway District Council. Award value £10,000.

David Mach and Charlie Hooker collaborated with architect Robert Chitham of Chapman Taylor on a programme of art inclusion within the Vicar Lane Town Centre project in Chesterfield. tThe project aimed to revitalise the town centre, providing almost 200,000 square feet of new retail space. The artists worked specifically on the new building designated as the Tourist Information Centre, \nas well as contributig to the wider scheme. The project was completed in 1999. Client: Centros Miller Ltd with Chesterfield Borough Council. Award value £7,500.
