The exhibition formed part of the Society's contribution to European Year of the Environment and, with the support of British Petroleum, the exhibition helped spread the environmental message to a wide public. It was on display in three main London railway stations during March 1987 and from April to March 1988 it visited other major cities.\nContact sheets of the model of the exhibition in the RSA's Benjamin Franklin room.

Baroness Jackson prevented by illness from attending the presentation, William Clark who succeeded her as President of the International Institute for Environment and Development, received it for her.
